Everton v Manu..Most pundits predicted a draw for the clash of the 4th vs the 3rd placed team..The last time Manu battled with Everton at Goodison, they outran Everton and smashed it 3-1..(That was the FA Cup)..This time around the bids are higher..Everton looks to secure it's 4th Champions League position where else Manu would want to gain 2nd place ahead of bitter rivals, Arsenal..

The game didnt dissapoint since the kick off itself..Both team were in pacey mood and it was end to end stuff..Both teams having fair shares in the game..

Timmy's first half attempt on goal which was cleared off the line by Wes Brown.

Big Dunc did it 10 years ago and he's still doing it!! The goal came in the 55th minute when Duncan Ferguson rose before Rio Ferdinand to meet Arteta's free kick and divert it into the net past the helpless Tim Howard. Everton 1 Man Utd 0!!

G.Neville is a fucking arsehole!! He has always been immatured and has huge amount of stupidity installed in him!! Kicking the ball at the fans? Com'on UR A PROFESSIONAL!! Every player gets sticking from the opposition fans!!

Everton took full advantage of the fact that fourth place obsessed, but patently not good enough, Liverpool lost again yesterday, thanks to a last minute goal from Kiki Musampa. With the game being a day later than their rivals’ yesterday’s results set things up nicely for Everton.

Knowing a win would put them four points clear again, they went at Palace with gusto, in a slighly changed 4-4-2 formation. Gary Naysmith came in, suprisingly for the Italian, with Hibbert, Stubbs and Weir completing the defensive line-up. In midfield, Arteta took his place, alongside Osman, Kilbane and Cahill. Up front, Ferguson partnered Marcus Bent. The man making way for Ferguson was Lee Carsley who found himself on the bench, alongside Watson, Wright, Vaughan and McFadden.

With the change in formation offering a little more in the way of creativity, it didn’t take Everton long to test Crystal Palace. Kilbane trying one from long range that just missed. However, the goal that Everton craved came after 8 minutes. Palace’s goalkeeper, Gabor Kiraly handling outside his area and Mikel Arteta stepped up to send the ball screaming into the top right hand corner for his first goal for the club.

An early goal was what was needed in order to settle the nerves of Evertonians on and off the pitch, but the game didn’t really light up to be anything special in the first half. Ferguson forced an excellent save out of Kiraly, and Osman should have scored, but headed over when well placed, and that was really it as far as Evertonian highlights are concerned. Palace had a couple of snapshots.

Everton went into the break 1-0 up, and reasonably comfortable. Alan Stubbs was forced to leave the field of play after 26 minutes after injuring his arm. He was replaced by the versatile Steve Watson.

The second half took off in great fashion when Tim Cahill slammed home the second goal from 18 yards, and ten minutes later headed the third, following good work from Kevin Kilbane to all bit kill the game. Palace could have pulled a goal back, but Torghelle was unlucky to see his shot come back off the post, and Wayne Routledge should have done better than put the ball wide when well placed.

With fifteen minutes left, James Vaughan was called by David Moyes to replace Gary Naysmith. James Vaughan aged 16 years and 271 days made a piece of Everton history, becoming the youngest ever Everton first team player, beating Joe Royle’s long-standing record.

He certainly was keen to get involved in the action and had a shot blocked as the blues pressed again. However, with four minutes of normal time remaining, Osman and Kilbane linked up, and when Kilbane put a cross into the Palace penalty area, there was the youngster, Vaughan to divert the ball past Kiraly and into the net for Everton’s fourth goal of the afternoon.

In that moment, he broke two more records, taking his afternoon tally to four. He beat Wayne Rooney’s record as the youngest ever Everton goalscorer, and he also broke James Milner’s record as the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Premiership.

So, Everton score four goals, to win four-nil, and that fits perfectly into the Sesame Street tie-in up top.

Here i am..I've been trying to sleep early for the past few days and have continuously failed on doing that..I'll always be able to sleep at 11-12 but then will automatically wake up!! grrr..And will be wide awake..grrr..

So here i am..Blogging..Somehow this semester seem more busy to me eventhough im just doing 2 units..Hmm..Probably that bcos im working as well..(yea..working on Wednesdays 9am to 9pm..yesss tiring!! Where? This japanese restaurant near my place..As? As a chef!! hehehe..well sort of..i do those easy dishes..lol) I guess i've been pretty bcos this semester my hsemates are more lively and we play gunbound together..eheheh..yea yea..childish or watsoever but its fun!! and that matters most!! :P

And yes Liang Ming..i read ur message..i'll update the current standings soon.."SOON"..eheheh..lazy ler...it looks good this way.. ;) Anyway, i've found the definition of HOMER SIMPSON!!

Where do i even start?

Shite..The last time i really blogged was like almost 4 months ago..gulpp...So much to write..Where do i even start?

From the trip in Melbourne, to back home KL and hommies in Subang...And back to Perth again..So much to bloody write...Not that im writing now cos life in Perth is boring but its just that im able to find the extra hrs here i guess..ERRkk?? *Scratches head* nevermind that...

Well, i just got my laptop back after 9days without it..The LCD went all dark and i needed to use my tablelamp to shine on it in order to read it..My gosh my gosh..Well lucky thing its stil under warranty..phewww....

Asia Tsunami Disaster

The sign is pretty obvious isnt it? Well, Boxing Day and look what has happened..This Asian Tsunami Disaster swept through several coastlines as well as lifes..Just yesterday one might just be enjoying with the entire family on the dining table for a good XMas Dinner and the day after, half the people that was on the table might have well been swept away from this disaster. Just a couple of weeks ago, 110 long-finned pilot whales and 10 bottle-nosed dolphins have been found dead after beaching themselves on Australia's island state of Tasmania. The Marine Biologist experts was not certain what causes whales and other ocean mammals to beach themselves and perhaps, just perhaps from my opinion that this could have very well been the first sign of this whole disaster..Sharks are guided by heat and Pilot Whales are guided by Deep Water Currents aka Thermohaline Circulation (I did some research). Oh Well..It might be or it might not be..

Anyway, on the day of this disaster my day was fine, i actually was in Great Ocean Road where its right next to Indian Ocean. Freaky eh? Oh Well shite happens..Anyway, gathered some information from various sites..And here's what i gather with so far..

Tsunami comes from the Japanese tsu (harbor) and nami (wave). Tsunamis are often incorrectly called tidal waves, but tides have nothing to do with them (though the damage may be worse if a tsunami hits at high tide).

A tsunami (pronounced tsoo-nah-mee) is a wave train, or series of waves, generated in a body of water by an impulsive disturbance that vertically displaces the water column. Earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, explosions, and even the impact of cosmic bodies, such as meteorites, can generate tsunamis. Tsunamis can savagely attack coastlines, causing devastating property damage and loss of life.

Tsunamis are unlike wind-generated waves, which many of us may have observed on a local lake or at a coastal beach, in that they are characterised as shallow-water waves, with long periods and wave lengths.

Recent tsunamis

1946: An earthquake in the Aleutian islands sent a tsunami to Hawaii, killing 159 people (only five died in Alaska).

1964: An Alaskan earthquake triggered a tsunami up to 20 feet tall that killed 11 people as far away as Crescent City, California and caused more than 120 deaths in all. More on the Web.

Indonesia is prone to seismic upheaval because of its proximity to the "Ring of Fire", an area around the Pacific Ocean basin where tectonic plates intersect and volcanoes erupt.

The quake occurred close to the island of Sumatra. Two tectonic plates, the Australian and Eurasian plates, meet just off Sumatra's south-west coast, grinding together and sending periodic seismic tremors through the region. At 0759 (0059 GMT) a violent rupture occurred on the sea floor along a fault about 1,000km long.

All along the rupture the seafloor was shunted vertically by about 10 metres. This movement displaced hundreds of cubic kilometres of the overlaying water, generating a massive tsunami, or sea surge. The wave then fanned out across the Indian Ocean at enormous speed.

The 9 magnitude quake, which was the strongest in the world for at least 40 years, wreaked havoc across the whole region. Walls of water, tens of metres high, slammed into coastal resorts thousands of miles apart. Surging seas and floods were reported as far away as east Africa.

The 200th Merseyside Derby..

Everton and Liverpool have a 200 games old tradition of football rivalry and it all begun since 1894 although Liverpool was established in 1892 but they finally played Everton 2 years later and just for the records, Everton won that first game..

It's the Merseyside derby and it's probably one of the most important games in the season calender and i'd never want to miss out on this..

I got on to Tatts Pokies along Chapel Street at about 11.15pm as the game starts at 11.30pm..The Melbourne Blues werent able to organise any live game meetup as many were away for the weekends of some shite..But Blues around other states of Australia organised some pretty good meetups..Brisbane Blues, Sydney Blues and Perth Blues..All had their very own live game meetups..All i manage to pull out in Melbourne is just 4 Evertonians together for this game..Oh well..Better then none..

The Merseyside Derby is one of those games that gets me so excited but when the game is actually being played, i'd have that tiny little voice speaking to me telling me that i should be away from the tv and just watch the final score..Skip all the drama and heart stopping moments..So much pride is at stake on this matchday..

Everton 3rd and Liverpool no where near to be seen..The Merseyside Derby normally have a numerous yellow cards being flashed out, a few red cards being thrown out occasionally and a few punches being thrown out at Liverpool players..(Not that Everton favours boxing but its just that Liverpool players are so shitty they simply am not capable of punching back..Oh well, regardless of punching back or not they do get send off as well..)

The game begins and Everton held on to some pretty good possessions but never really tested Liverpool's goal in the first half where else Liverpool had lesser possession but manage to sneak in a few shots to test Nigel Martyn..

The first half came to an end and both teams still couldnt break the deadlock..

Lee Carsley broke the deadlock for Everton in the 68th minute when Osman set up the Carsley and his curling shot from 20 yards beat Kirkland.

And seconds later Riise had to kick off the line from Cahill as Everton went for the kill.

I'm telling you..This is TEAM SPIRIT!! You have never really seen this sort of celebration..The spirit, the togetherness..

I did mention about some punches might be exchanged but not this time..It was just a little pushing and look at how dramatic Liverpool players were..Although i do admit that Big Dunc is probably just asking a little bit too much..I reckon that Moyes probably brought Big Dunc in to stir things a little..Strike fear into Liverpool and scare the shite out of them in broad day light..lol..Myself and my fellow Evertonians were simply giggling while watching this as there were a few Liverpool fans around as well..Oh well..

Need i say more? Big Dunc!! He has an Everton tattoo on his left arm and that tattoo speaks out loud!!

Everton is now SECOND on the table after Chelsea as Chelsea and Arsenal drew in a controversial 2-2 match..Everton second on the table and is a team well worthy for that position. This just goes to show what can happen when you've got 11 players willing to work for each other week in, week out..

Everton came back from behind twice to beat Bolton Wanderers in this smashing 3-2 match..

Kevin Davies found the net for Bolton in the 16th minute through a header but Everton having to play at home was all out attacking but the equaliser only manage to come in the 45th minute where Pistone crossed from the left side and for Big Dunc to bury the goal into the net pass the full stretched Jaaskelainen..

Team Spirit..That's what we have..That's what that have been keeping us ahead and that's what many other teams lack of..

Kevin Davies was just being a prick and scored against us in the 59th minute to keep Bolton in the lead through yet another header..Gesss..Everton 1 Bolton 2.

Everton was awarded a free kick on the edge of Bolton's penalty box in the 75th minute..The kick was taken but the referee ordered a retake as Bolton players did not stand on their wall and rushed out before the kick was taken..This decision made Bolton's manager fuming on the sidelines as the retake proved costly..Thomas Gravesen smashed (YEAP HE REALLY DID SMASH IT!! Look at him FLY!) the free kick to the bottom left of the goal out of the reach of the helpless Bolton keeper..Everton 2-2 Bolton.

Everton finally took the lead in the 83rd minute when a corner kick for Everton was headed away but only for Osman to volley the ball goalwards and deflected Rahdi Jaidi for an own goal..Everton 3 Bolton 2..

Everton do deserve the 3points are numerous bombardments in front of the Bolton goal and although Bolton must have felt quite hard done after giving up the lead twice and finally went home without any points..A smashing game and frankly a surprising win for the Toffees!!

Newcastle v Everton LIVE on Fox and the game kicks off at 1am Melbourne time..Got on a train from South Yarra trainstation to Caulfield to meet up with Kar Heng and Shawn to drive me to Century City, Springvale to watch the live game..

Its been awhile since i last watch Everton live on tv..O well..The game started brightly with both side throwing everything they got at one another..Of course it was Newcastle who came out much stronger in the first half..Of course Newcastle took the lead in first half through Bellamy's fifth minute goal against us..

During half time we had some wedges, beer, 20cents coffees, and some slot machine games..oopss..yea..20cents coffees!! And the coffees aint bad at all!! HONEST!! Com'on this coming from a coffee addict im pretty sure its pretty good coffee and might pretty well be even better then some 4-5bucks coffees..

Anyway, back to the game..Everton as expected responded pretty good in the second half after trailing Newcastle 0-1..No substitutes were made but some tactical changes were enforced and in the 56th minute, Everton earned a freekick and Lee Carsley curled that freekick in to the Newcaslte goal to bring Everton 1-1..

Both teams had some pretty good chances to take the lead but both fail to find the end of the net and the game went on to some breath taking moments..

The game ended 1-1 and its one point to both teams but it was more of a triumph for Everton to come out of St.James Park with a point...Not many teams could have done that..

Later on went to Young's close friend hse to watch the Liverpool v Arsenal game..Thanks to all that brought me around!!

Melbourne..hmmm..so much to be said about..It's been a while since i last blogged but here's a draft for the first 5 days of my trip in Melbourne..Couldnt really remember everyday but will blog on special events or trips or etc..

Well, i've reached Melbourne at 11pm on Friday, 26th Nov..It is certainly a place that suited me way better then Perth..Well, haven't got all the time to write in here..But so far, it's been brilliant..Am certainly going to enjoy my 6 weeks in Melbourne..

This is the story so far,

DAY 1
Arrived at 11pm..Jess and Jenn came and picked me up!! :) Had to wait for about 15-20 minutes before they arrive cos my flight landed rather early..Oh well..Got to their hse in South Yarra and it's certainly a nice looking place..

DAY 2
Had Morning breakfast at St Kilda with Jess, Jenn and Gina and later on went to Chadstone Shopping Mall..A 2-storey shopping mall pretty similiar to what we have Carousel Cannington shopping mall..*yawn yawn*

DAY 3
Had lunch at this yummy Vietnamese Restaurant in Richmond with Jenn, Gina and Jess.. :)

Later on went to Chapel Street on show and boy was i tired after the trip..Chapel Street is such a loooooooong street..Shops everywhere...My goodness..Melbourne is really a Shopping Haven!!!

Well have finally done packing and cleaning up my place before i depart for Melbourne in 12 hours time..Will be there for good 6 weeks and will then return to KL!!!! O LA LA!! Can't wait..This coming 3 months is going to be SUPER!! Why just make it 3 months? Might as well say from now on, MY LIFE IS GOING TO BE SUPER!! MUAHAHAHHAHAH..

Well, have been playing Need For Speed Underground 2 and it's not too bad..It's nice..It's addictive..But frankly, i prefer the model they had on the first edition rather then Kelly Brooke now..And the music is not that good as compared to the previous ones..Anyway the game play can get pretty boring at times but in a way its good cos i wouldnt be glued to it for half a day..Certainly worth the buy for u guys who couldnt get hold of a pirated/burnt version..Im still waiting to get my hands on the new Championship Manager..Will probably have to wait till January when i return..

Another season of good shit of stressing and trying to squeeze in as much knowledge as we can into our brains causing massive information overload and potential brain damage has passed..o well..it has happened for about a decade now..Exams are finally over and done with for yet another semester..Exams not too bad this semester i reckon..*fingers crossed*

Well, its that time of the semester again..Where ppl pack, have a couple of drinks, and bid farewell..Some you'll be able to see again next semester, some you might not be able to see them ever again..Some ppl are just so anxious and fly out on the first flight available..Where's the fun peeps?!! Cant u guys like stay for a week or two extra and just enjoy the life without having the thoughts of assignments or tutorials running behind ur mind..O well..

Anyway, my burden's really lifted away now..i guess..if i dont fail any subjects this semester..Otherwise i'd have only 2 subjects to do upon my return next semester...WOHOO!!!

Okkk..Anyway, will be leaving for Melbourne on Friday!!! Will there for 6 long weeks..And hopefully it'll turn out to be a n enjoyable one..But im pretty sure it will!! ;)

Well well well...Looks like the transfer mill have start to spin now on Everton..Linking with hundreds of players jus bcos we are doing SUPERBLY WELL and have just been injected heaps of funds!! Many of u might think that come January, Everton will bring in a few good players and Everton will be stronger then..But how true can that be?

Bringing in new players might distrupt the flow that the team has..We might land players like Scott Parker, Mido, Robert Huth, Van Bommell, McCarthy, Beattie or Robbie Keane but will they really do good to the team or will they distrupt the plays and damage the team..Many pundits predicted that Everton will definitely face relegation this season after watching Radzinski smashing all the harmony in the club and of course Judas Rooney leaving the club..But what has happened so far? The team pulled together and focused on the plays and came out with results!! We play as a TEAM!! :)

The January transfer window should be seen as an opportunity but do not over excite and look forward to signings..Whether Moyes chooses to splash the cash or to save it for future usage, it's his decision and many Evertonians have said this,

1-0 1-0 1-0....1-0 for the Everton boys!! We are third on the table..We are third..We are still third..Ooo...We are catching up!!

A typical defensive formation was employed by the Fulham boys..Tryin to play out a draw or get a sneaky 0-1 win..Well..Again, we've been controlling the game and deserved to collect all three points from this game!! :D

Remember Cuntface Tomasz Radzinski? Well, it's his first return to Goodison after leaving Everton in a conflict..He was claiming then that he wanted to move to a bigger club..He see no future in Everton..He critic Moyes and think that Moyes is no where close to being a decent manager..He told Rooney to pack his bags asap and leave Everton instantly!! What a fcukin twat!! Well, tomasz my pal, look at the fuckin league table and tell me how fuckin right you are!!! Im sure Fulham is on the brink of reaching the champions league, just 9 places away..And as for Everton my golly we are so close to relegation..15 places away from relegation..Well, fork u Tomasz!!

Radzinski aside, there's also the return of Pembridge and McBride..Both left the club on good terms and yes they didnt get any sticks from the Goodison crowds instead was applauded..Tomasz got heaps of sticks from the Goodison crowds throughout the game!! Job Well Done to the Evertonians who gave a shout at him!!

As for the game, it was a tough nut to crack as Fulham came in all defensive..(Reckon that they learnt that from watching too many cheap Liverpool VHS, VCD, DVD *Another reason why u shouldnt always buy the cheapest thing of the shelves*)

Everton kept coming, and finally we had to call in our Big Duncan to smash Fulham's lock..66th minute, An Everton corner taken by Gravesen, Kilbane heads the ball but only for Fulham's keeper to palm it away but Big Duncan reacted quickly and headed the rebound into the goal!! 1-0 Everton!!

I don't if most of you guys notice this but Everton have been scoring from set pieces..Hmmm..Moyes have been doing heaps of set pieces training i reckon... :D

Another week has passed..We are so near to relegation, i could piss in my pants if i'd see the table cos we are way too high..Oh well, i'd better get use to this!! ;P We shall not be moved from the top three!!

The night Everton exploded into life

It's been ten years ago this week since Joe Royle made his emotional return to Goodison and a certain rangy Scottish striker became the new king of Goodison Park after an incredible derby win on a misty winters night. To set the scene, Everton were rock bottom going into November with Mike Walker's team looking clueless. After a dire goalless draw at Norwich, Peter Johnson used the ensuing international break to sack Walker and replace him with Royle. On a shoestring budget Royle had worked miracles with Oldham leading them into the top flight and now he had the opportunity to work some magic on the Blues.

Royle's first test was the derby at Goodison. With Roy Evans' team riding high, Everton were given no chance. However this was the night that Joe Royle's 'Dogs of War' were born. Royle had two weeks to work with his demoralised squad and he developed a system that employed three hard-running, hard-tackling midfielders in Barry Horne, Joe Parkinson and John Ebbrell to chase the opposition. He also had a highly-rated, but boredlooking target-man on loan from Rangers and a full-back with a deadly left foot called Andy Hinchcliffe.

On the night, the plan worked like a dream. The first half was suitably scrappy but it was soon apparent the Reds were struggling against the Blues powerhouse midfield. The game swung Evertons way when Hinchcliffe's booming corner was met by a bullet Duncan Ferguson header. It was the striker's first goal for Everton and a new hero was born. The goal knocked the stuffing out of Liverpool and just before the end Rideout scored the goal that took Everton off the bottom of the table. Goodison exploded and Joe Royle gave Evertonians their pride back. But no one could have predicted the eventual glory that season would bring.

First thing first, current level of debt, £42m. But this figure does not include the money raised from the sale of Wayne Rooney, nor a potential £12.8m cash injection from the Fortress Sports Fund. If Fortress Sports Fund deal does go through, Moyes will probably have £10m to spend come January..Debt? What debt? oh...that £42m? I have no idea..Te Chairman seem to forgot about that..I reckon it'll be covered through the Rooney sales though..

Here i am..Got back yesterday nite from Telstra Australia and was so tired..Didn't really bother to refresh the site to check the livescore of this game..Went to sleep instead and when i woke up about 3am, i just refresh the site and HEY WHAT DO U KNOW..WE WON!! WE actually win at Birmingham!! One of the most hostile grounds!! ooo..I was still sleepy but i was quite determined to read the match report at that vey moment..

This to be frank is not one of those game that we dominate..It was a fair battle although it must have been quite hard done to Birmingham as they came close a couple of times and would have really win this game if they have got better strikers then Heskey!!

This is a game that most Toffees would agree that we'd be happy with a draw..O well..

No, this red card is not for Tim Cahill (Don't ask me what was he up to), it was for Muzzy Izzet (the one turning back) as Izzet palmed away a goalbound shot from Lee Carsley and Everton was automatically awarded a penalty.

Thomas Gravesen was given the duty to take the shot from the spot and stepped up to coolly send Birmingham keeper Maik Taylor the wrong way with his 68th minute spot-kick.

Everton as usual always have this tendency at the dying moment to give us the fans some heart attack moments when Birmingham should have earned a draw in the closing seconds as Dwight Yorke missed Birmingham's best chance of the game from close range. Thank goodness it was Yorke and thank goodness it wasn't Heskey..If not i'd be laughing the whole week!!

Telstra Rally Australia..An event that i've been looking forward to since the announcement that it'll be held in November this year!!

Well, was suppose to go with Maye, Ken and one of their friend but unfortunately Ken and the other guy couldn't make it and Maye was no longer interested then and it left me with just me!!

Called Chriz, might come if she can finish her studies..Azah, can't make it as she got to go to her aunty's place..Denise, she is working as one of the organisers for this event (nope can't get any free tickets, and she got Petter Solberg's cap for free from Petter himself!!)

Okok..I seriously didn't know that so many of you out there is interested in going to the Rally..Cause when i got back home, i received heaps of messages on my MSN!! Oh well, ended up going there alone but Denise said it's better for me to come alone as she'll get me the crew pass and i can get into the Service Area!!!!!

Well, i got the AUD50 tickets..The McRae Grandstand..Honestly should have just went for the 20bucks seats..But oh well..

Some of the highlight races was a Natural Aspirated 1.6 litre VolksWagen driven by Wang Rui(China Team) VS Turbo Charged Evo5 driven by Michael Kahfluss..Who did u think the win was? The winner came out to be the VW!! No kidding!! I reckon its probably the driver in the Evo5 lack of experience..Probably a newbie i reckon..But the China driver was supposingly the best from China and has won numerous wins in China Rally..It was simply sweeet seeing a VW leading an Evo5..Experience beats all..But of course the other VW (China team sent 2 cars) was well knocked out by Honda Civic!! Oh well..

Impreza RS a 2.5 litre car with no turbo installed versus a Turbo Charged Lancer EVO5..Impreza driven by Gleeney and Evo by Whaytt..Outcome: Impreza smashes the Evo!! I really can't express the feeling of watching the entire head to head battle..With the mufflers, sparks, crowds, dust, and atmosphere..Simply can't express this experience in words..No, im not lying about Evo5 loosing out in this 2 occassion ok!! And it just so happen that i remember the underdogs victories better.. Of course there's also the battle of Sebastian Loeb (The newly crowned WRC Champ) vs Rovanpera and many other big guns!! AUD50, well spent!! A night well lived..

Here i am..4.30am and yes im still awake..I can't bloody sleep.. I tried and my mind kept thinking..And here its a 4am post regarding life..The miracle..The complexity..The beauty..and most of all the terror..

This might not be any big deal to most of you as we tend to take it for granted and live by the principal of, "Oh well..Life goes on.." Every one of us.. No, i should rephrase this.. Every single thing has its own tale..Regardless of it has life in it or not.. Remember those days when you are asked to write a tale about a pencil or a car or whatsoever..That's their tale.. Tales doesn't only apply to human, nor only any living creatures but it stretches to even simple iron rods..So..What's your little tale?

I have a tale of my own..(Ugh..DUH!!) From the day my parents decided to have a child..To the day i whisper my last breath..If i succeed in leaving an impact, my legacy will go on and my tale will be recorded and brought down to generations and hopefully this tale of mine, is something i can be proud of.. You see, how can i ever sleep with these thoughts flooding my mind?!

Im not about to write my tale at this moment of course..That'll be suicidal..I have my exams coming up beginning on Tuesday and i really shouldn't be so confident of myself and start to worry more and take the time i have studying..

I have no idea what am i suppose to look forward to?!!
i) To holidays which last for short periods..Wouldnt it be nice if it is eternity?
ii) Or should i look forward to going back to Malaysia? Yea..So what's the big deal? People come..People go..
iii) Or should i look forward to graduation? Uhh..huh..I'll end up either a cadet pilot or working in a firm..
iv) Or should i just look forward to earning my big bucks, my dream cars, my dream vacations and all those?? and then what happens after this?
v) Or should i look forward to being in political issues..Regardless of organisation politics or government politics..It's dirty..It's bitchy but i guess it gives me the thrill..This is the test for the survival of the fittest..Mind you, different people have different thrills and excitement..That's what makes us unique from one another..

Or should i just be stupid and greed them all? Or smarter by just being happy and take things simple and easy?

I don't really know..Nothing really suits me best..I guess im looking for something that is different..Where do i start with limited capital and resources in hand..Yea capital as in cash which im sure i can find my ways through it..Resources are more important..Reliable resources to work with and that is not going to be easy to find..Surprisingly i can only think of a few..And if your name is up here, but damn proud of yourself..I'd enlist Jeremy Goh, Andrew Kong, and Sayed Hafizh for now..

So, what's my plan? World domination? lol.. That's so 20th century!! o well..time to sleep..will continue with this shite some other time then..

I can't decide if I should feel massively depressed at having been well beaten by a bunch of reserves or should I try and put together a realistic view and try to make some sense of it all?

On paper this was an easy ride, a simple passage into the quarter finals and only a couple of games away from our first trip to Cardiff. However, it turned out to be anything but. Arsene Wenger must be sleeping soundly at night. If he has got this amount of talent in the reserves, then we can all pack up and go home.

I didn't expect the Reserves team to be so strong..Although they were the same players who crunch ManCity out of the competition, i thought it was just ManCity and that even my very own 'Dunlop Team/Waterboys Team' could smash ManC..

As you can see, im quite in the mood to blog rite now..Probably bcos it is 'study week' and i tend to make NO USE of it..It's been a culture, during study week, i never fail to start on Championship Manager again!!! ARGH!!! Here i am after wasting several hours on my new 'Bolton' team..goshh..

I guess blogging with the lights off, mp3 on and a few msn chat windows sets one of the best scene..Alrite, back to the game..

The game seem so promising for Everton as we took the lead as early as the 7th minute through a Tommy Gravesen's free kick!! At that moment i was saying to myself, 'Arsenal boys are not that tough cookie afterall'

Then it all started to turn sour in the 25th minute.. *notice i didnt mention anything about Edu's challenge* Anyway, Abeyie scored the first to equalise in the 25th minute and it was not all 1-way Arsenal..Everton had a couple of good chances but hats off for the Arsenal Reserves...

Then the second goal came in the 52nd minute where Lupoli smash home from 6 yards after brilliant play from Abeyie and Van Persie.. The third goal came in the 85th minute where Everton was being counter-attack and it was Lupoli's second of the game to knock Everton out of the MickeyMouse Cup..

The Arsenal first team might be in a struggling period but their reserves are certainly high-flying at the moment and with prospect of the new Emirates Stadium, Reserve team that could rub of a third place team, the future for Arsenal Football Club is certainly well planned and seem to be very promising indeed...

I salute to Arsenal Reserve team..We lost to a very hungry team..

Money can't buy everything. The battle between second and third in the Premiership was always going to tell us more about Everton than Chelsea and so it proved at Stamford Bridge.

You just needed to glance at the team sheet to realise that while this was a clash between two of the best three sides in the land on current form, it was more like a Journeyman XI against a Superstar XI. The likes of Leon Osman, Tony Hibbert and David Weir may not get into a Chelsea reserve side, but they earned the right to have a crack at opponents of this calibre and it didn't take long for then to show why they are becoming formidable opponents.

If Chelsea's billionaires had contemplated the thought that this was going to be an easy afternoon at the office, then Tim Cahill reminded them what they were up against after just three minutes. Piling in with three fearless challenges in the space of five seconds, the tone of their performance had been set for the afternoon and the roar that greeted his contribution from the Everton fans.

The first chance of the game fell Everton's way as Kevin Kilbane's brilliant cross picked out Cahill in the box and his header forced Petr Cech into a flying save. He really should have done better.

It seem to be a great Saturday ahead..Woke up about 1..Got ready and found my way to West Perth to do my group meeting..Thomas' house was absolutely brilliant!! Ideal for him and his girlfriend..Oh btw, Thomas is from Sweden..His apartment have this absolutely classy swimming pool (those that look like hotel swimming pools with those huge rock and etc) and the spa..ooo..and the bbq pit (typical oz), tennis court and etc..o well..

Finally finalised the report and so glad that we are done with this assignment..I went to the City alone to just walk around and get those little things that i kept forgetting..Hairband or Headband watever u call it!! Yes i use them when im trying to study!! (Notice the word 'TRYING') And also had a sudden craving for PepsiMax..Went around City, stupid shops mostly offer Coke..Finally found PepsiMax..ahhhh....Lovely..Nope im only a fan of PepsiMax and PepsiTwist not the original Pepsi..Too gassy..

Got back home at about 6+..Jus lay on my bed helplessly..Not wanting to move..Was surprised to find out that this friend of mine in UWA didnt know i was in Perth all these while!! MY GOsH!! esshhh.. Went to the KV Dinner with Charlene, Howard, Ronald, Kitt Yee, Yit Chuan and Kristin..As usual KV offers lousy food..haihh..Compared to what Erica offer..DISSAPOINTING!! O well..Didnt do much there probably because there isnt much to do there..The highlight was probably when all the residents are gathered around the BBQ Pit and when suddenly the sprinkler started to spray water..Yeap, water sprinkling all over, ppl running around..o well..

Came back home..And Azah told me that she cant bloody go to VicPark tonite for the Everton game..Dont know and DONT WANT TO KNOW WHATS THE STUPID REASON!! I was so Happy that i could watch the game but end up dissapointed..Real setback..

My HIGHLIGHT of the day was CHELSEA VS EVERTON LIVE!! Number 2 of the table VERUS Number 3 of the table..And there she go, just wiped my day away..I told her about this like on WEDNESDAY!! And just hours before it and she came to me and tell me that she cant make it bcos she's going Vic Park for Dinner first..Wat has it got to do with it? I dont know, dont want to know..What the fcuk man..I wont force others..fine nvm..But dont expect me to be consistent in helping as well..If it come to other issues, i dont mind..BUT when it come to EVERTON LIVE GAME!! I dont take any tolerance!! I dont mind about other things.. But u should know how much EVerton meant to me!!! If it isnt important i wouldnt even mention to u in advance!!!!!!!!!! Im absolutely gutted when she just happily push me aside!! So dissapointed with her as a friend..Am i asking too much here? If it wasnt important i wouldnt even mention in advance!! Am i suppose to look forward to November in thoughts of, "Yea!! Another step closer to graduation" or "FCUKIIN HELL, EXAMS!!"

Well, whatever it is, it's coming..I have heaps of things to do for November, beginning from sorting my subjects next semester, annual KV dinner, sorting my accommodation for next semester, locate my textbooks (for me to study), enjoy the WRC event!!, exam!!, after exams party, MH, Ruth & Kelsey's bday parties!!, farewell parties for those who are leaving, fly to Melbourne and have a jolly good time there..anything else? hmmm..o well it'll pop up here and there..

Well, Melbourne is now 3 hours ahead and live soccer is now 1 hour later from the usual time..Hmm..Hey!! IT IS BLOODY AFFECTING ME OK!! This coming weekend is the Chelsea vs Everton game and its going to start at 11pm which means...I'd either watch it somewhere in the city OR just watch the first half of the game in the common room..grrr...

This is one of the quotes that was made after the game and quite frankly, the Villa players were quick to praise Everton. It was a game that Everton lost 2 points and Villa luckily walked away with a point. The game was well dominated by Everton. Even though Aston Villa got the lead first in the 26th minute through Lee Hendrie from a long range strike.

When Everton found themself one down, it was entirely all Everton there after. The Villains were bombarded and an equalise was not long when Marcus Bent struck the goal in te 32nd minute.

Everton probably had an least 5 clear chances to take the lead. Stubbs header was cleared off the line, Bent was denied by the post once and another was when he cleverly chipped the goalkeeper only for the ball to just miss by inches..Weir having a shot from the edge of the box and misses the goal narrowly..And the closest one was when Osman's shot came back off the inside of the post..It's certainly 'One of those days'

Everton certainly did more then enough to win this game and it certainly is a case of Everton lost 2 points.

Everton played in their strongest squad possible and again was quick to show the appettite..Hungering for goals and bombarded Preston all over..

The goal simply didnt come through even when the first whistle was blew..Fears of Everton dominating and not able to win the game is again looming over evertonians..

The first goal of the game finally came from Everton in the 52nd minute through a set-piece..And surprise surprise, it was from Lee Carsley!! Lee Carsley promptly curled the free kick around the wall and into the net.. Everton 1 Preston 0!!

Everton defended the lead but Preston almost came close to score the equaliser but was ruled offside..Mawene got the ball in the Everton net for Preston but the flag went up straight away..

Lee Carlsey was later sent off in the 72nd minute for an off-the-ball incident with Preston's Eric Skora..It was a straight red card from the referee and that would mean a straight 3-games ban for Carsley..

With Everton having to play with 10-men in the last 20 minutes of the game, Preston kept pushing for the equalising goal but the toffeemen held well and instead secured the game in the 89th minute when Marcus Bent was brought on for Big Dunc and scored the second goal within 20 seconds!! Osman troubling the defenders and cleverly pulled back the ball for Bent to smash the ball in!!

EXTRAORDINARY...That's the one word that best describe this game..Everton as usual, have this habit of giving a game away..We have this tendecy of giving victories away..But this time it was close..reallllll close..

The game was set for an early 7.30pm kickoff and was broadcasted live on fox..Got my bumm over at the common room to catch the high flying toffees..Norwich started the game brighter then Everton (for the first five minutes) before Leon Osman had a shot on target which then started the whole Everton rhythm going and in the 9th minute, Tim Cahill found space between the Canaries defence and ran thru them right into the 6 yards box, and cleverly pulled the ball back for Kilbane to cooly smash into the net in front of the helpless Norwich defence..

Marcus Bent was again the sole striker in Moyes' 4-5-1 victorious tactic and again is paying the dividens..Everton defended hard against the Norwich boys and Tommy Gravesen was on the counter and made a smart long ball for Bent to chase and cooly slot the ball before the defender made the challenge and away from the helpless goalkeeper to make it 2-0!! Norwich fans who have been daunting Bent the entire afternoon was left shocked and heartbroken..

The toffees finished the first half with an excellent performance and a well deserved 2-0 lead although Norwich came close to finding the net numerous times..Then came the second half which was a complete disaster to say the least..

3 minutes after the break, 48th minute and Leon McKenzie found the net with the Everton defence still enjoying their tea time..The early goal lift the entire stadium..Norwich was practically steam rolling against us..We somehow seem to loose focus and i reckon its probably the afternoon tea and biscuits they had during half time..

We were back tracking..Loosing every battle on the pitch and we finally gave away the free gift to Norwich in the 56th minute when Everton conceded a corner. It was a typical simple cross to the box and with heaps of defenders in the box, they all somehow seem to miss the ball and it fell in easily for Damien Francis to tap the ball in front of the goal..Clearly, we lack of training on defending set pieces..

At this time, i already gave up the game as i just can't see how Everton is going to revive when we do not have any rhythm and Norwich is bombarding us..I couldnt bare the heartache of watching the game, doing nothing but watching the game and my mind playing games on me telling me that the possibility of leaving Carrow Road with a point is very slim, let alone winning!! I opt to play pool to release the tension and heartache..

It's just a matter of time when Norwich will finally find their 3rd goal but in the 72nd minute, Everton was in one of the few good posession period, where Gravesen was brought down on the edge of the box but the referee plays it to an advantage only for substitute, Steve Watson to cross it to the end post for Big Duncan to do the thing he do best, which is scoring with his head!! The ball found the net thru the helpless keeper..3-2 to EVERTON!!!

I was so happy at that moment..No, not happy but RELIEF!!! The relief feeling u get when u really need to get to the toilet..lol..yea that feeling..Glad to finally found that goal and really hope that we can last through the game with that lead or extend the lead through a counter attack...

It's just a proud tradition of Everton to always provide Evertonians with nail-biting games..As usual, the last 15 minutes is not suitable for those with a weak heart!! Chances after chances, give aways after give aways..I was shouting and screaming at the TV Screen!! "U fool stop giving away!! U fool, CONTROL the ball!!"

It's certainly not the best defending and goalkeeping i've seen from the toffee boys but it was sufficient to secure all three points..What relief it was when the final whistle goes and it felt like an entire burden was just lifted away from my shoulders..This win means that Everton is now lying 2nd on the table, well an least for a moment unless Chelsea beats Blackburn..

It's been a simple day so far..Played Mahjong at Cafe 41 yesterday nite..We didnt keep track of the time..Just kept on playing and EATING!! Munching.. All started from Ronald and Kent wanting to eat supper.. 3 rounds of fries, 2 rounds of fish fillets and 1 round of pizza.. The oven was busy all nite long..No, rephrase that as 'All morning long'..

"How can u help mend a broken heart when ur heart is shattered as well?" Only to realise that if you want to help, you have to ignore ur own feelings.. No worries, im fine!! :)

Hmm..complicating? Nehh..not really..Anyway, my parents rang me yesterday and gave me the option of Proton Gen2 vs Toyota Avanza.. Supposingly will be mine when i gradute.. Hmmm.. Suddenly, so eager to get another car.. I personally don't fancy a 7-seater MVP Avanza..Me in it? eeeehww.... I still love the 98' Civic then. haihh... :( Shouldnt have sold that... Well, Gen2's not too bad..Had a go in one of it before i left, and not too bad..Pretty comfy in it..And surprisingly, the handling of the car was pretty good.. Well, whatever happens it'll be down to my dad to make the decision.. o well..

Smart ways to scare ur housemate away..

1) Collect potatoes. Paint faces on them and give them names. Name them after your hsemates. Separate your hsemate's potato (the person ur trying to frighten away) from the others. Wait a few days, and then bake your hsemate's potato and eat it. Explain to your hsemate, "He just didn't belong."

2) Move everything to one side of the hse. Ask your hsemate if he knows how much an elephant weighs, and look at the floor on the empty side of the house with concern.

3) Buy some knives. Sharpen them every night. While you're doing so, look at your housemate and mutter, ''Soon, soon....''

4) Collect hundreds of pens and pile them on one side of the room. Keep one pencil on the other side of the room. Laugh at the pencil.

5) Tell your housemate, "I've got an important message for you." Then pretend to faint. When you recover, say you can't remember what the message was. Later on, say, "Oh, yeah, I remember!" Pretend to faint again. Keep this up for several weeks.

6) Make a sandwich. Don't eat it, leave it on the floor. Ignore the sandwich. Wait until your housemate gets rid of it, and then say, "Hey, where the heck is my sandwich!?" Complain loudly that you are hungry and on the verge of starvation. Make a scene out of it!!

Ahahha..Got these shite from my sister..No worries to my current hsemate and future hsemates.. (U know who you are..) I dont reckon that i'll use the above tactics.. Unless i dont get what i want!! MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA!! Regretting now? nyek nyek.. :P

Flat dinner was held on monday, 18th Oct..Was a pretty good event..Heaps of food..From fried rice to chips to roast chicken to bah kut teh...ahahhaaha... Okk..FOOD AGAIN..Gosh..Well fed..And the drinking games that we played..Muahha..

These are the 8 tenants in our huge house..4 showers 2 toilets 2 kitchens and of course 8 rooms..

Kelsey and Reece..Yea they both got that Oktoberfest temporary tattoo on..They were suppose to stick it on their forehead..(Well that's what they said they would do when they came back from that event..sheeeshh...tipsy ppl then..)

Some ppl, jus cant seem to find the time..I dont know why..Do they really have 12 hours a day compared to my 24hrs a day? Are they being punished and has only 12 hours to live in a daY?? Then how come, this group member of mine NEVER seems to have time for group meetings and HAVE YET TO GIVE ME ANY GOOD MATERIALS!! (yes, she has submitted ONE piece of shitty work before) We allocated our duty and she made hell of a noise there..My gosh..That's when i've decided to cut off all sort of recognition/communication with her..If she doesnt want work, then fine i wont give you any..And dont expect to have ur name printed next to mine on the assignment!! Muaahahah...ohhhh...most of us are doing an least 3-4 subjects per semester and that's a pretty normal workload..Imagine, the group member that im complaining is doing TWO SUBJECTS!!! ANGER!!sheeesshh... I really am wondering whether is there lesser hours in a day for some people..

Ok, nvm that..I even found time to do my flat page!! To be submitted to the office for the annual yearbook..Too bad, they only allow each flat 1 page..How pathetic..Have got heaps to write but have to squeeze everythin to one piece..Not much of an admirable work.. But it's 'submittable'..ahahhaha..

I've just appeared so differently to so many people for the last few days after witnessing my work efficiency..muahahaha..Probably frighten a few as well..o well..But even when i do work, i still find time for sufficient sleep, a bit of entertainment, heaps of chatting online, surfing my usual footie sites and it all came after i do my work..sheeesshh...

I was about to jump to bed and enjoy a good sleep until i pull my curtains..Have any of u ever open up ur window and look at how bright it is out there at 5am!! Back home in Msia, even at 6am it's still DARK!! And only when its 7am u see some shades of light coming in..

But here!! it seem like an afternoon!! oh my goodness..Really doesnt set my mood to sleep rite now..

It was a game which most Evertonians expected to steam roll past the St.Mary boys..(Just like how we expected to beat Spurs 2 weeks ago) The game started brightly for the Toffees with most if not all possesion on the Everton attacking side..The boys from Southampton was clearly struggling against a very organised Everton midfield..(Hmm..organised midfield..Everton?? erm..oKAY!!)

A moment of silence for Ken Baigley (Okay, the Brit who was prosecuted in Iraq a week ago or so..Yes, Mr.Baigley is an Evertonian..

It was a case of Everton attacking for most of the time and Everton defence was only tested 3 times at MOST throughout the entire game!! And would it be another case of deja-vu like how the Spurs game turned out to be? Then came the brilliant moment, when Leon Osman broke the deadlock at the 88th minute of the game..The goal should have came earlier, but rather late then never!!

An long throw in from Thomas Gravesen and a flick from Big Dunc, and Osman was there to find the net!! Everton 1 Southampton 0!!

No, dont get me wrong..im not a muslim..But it's their first day of fasting so Azah called me up and ask me to go over her place for makan!! Wohoo~~

*yummy* Thank goodness for fasting period..U simply just pamper urself with even more good food!!

Okay...That's the Rendang curry chicken (azah couldnt make up her mind whether to do rendang or curry, so its kinda in between..lol), and on the top left is the sweet and spicy chicken!! That was GOOD!! and bottom left was some cabbage i think..(Heck the vege..Doesnt really matter..:P)

And it simply doesnt stop there..Azah is so well pampered that she claims that breaking fast is simply not complete without dessert!! What indulgence..Buzz up a couple of ppl whether would they be interested in going to the city..Only manage to scoop Jesca out and got going to Northbridge (as they 'the girls' couldnt decide on Gelare OR Gelato..) *ohh..girls~~~* Had yummy Waffel with ice cream in Gelare..ehehehe..Need i say more?

Later, dug our way to makan-makan cafe..Had this craving for teh tarik all of a sudden..And here we are..Azah, Denise and myself..

Had steamboat at Northbridge on Wednesday after class..Was quite a rush then but it turned out all well..Reckon that it's not too bad for a 26 bucks Buffet Steamboat..(Hey, u cant compare with Msia's 10 ringgit buffet steamboat k!!)

When we got there, we were all practically starving!! Steamboat was already going as Wing and Jesca are there earlier. Kevin, Brandon and myself quickly got our food sorted out fast and throw them all into the boiling pot? (Is it called pot? You know, the steamboat thing..)

Brandon issues some warning to those who messes with a hungry man!! "Touch my food and u'll get a good smacking from me!"

LESSON LEARNT: No matter how hungry u are, don't jus gobble up ur food without tasting it!!

There's heaps of food there on the table..This is just partial ok!! What's missing from this pic are, GREAT TAU FOO FA, yummy SAGOs, Cincau, and all those dishes where only ur mum would pick them up.. ahh..of course, those seafood (prawn, salmon, crabstick), tofu, and etc..

Here's the haven!! MEAT!! And all meat!! Meatballs...Fishballs..sliced lamb..sliced beef..and greedy Kevin tried on the liver and regretted it big time!! lol..

Brandon came back and said he have some urgent phone calls to make..Well, apparently his 'URGENT' phone call was SUCCESFULLY made like 40 minutes later!! And there was one part where he was heading towards the door and said that he'll walk to Vic Park (claiming that it's really near, and certainly a walkin distance!!) Okay, for those who doesnt know the distance, it's about 10-15 minutes drive there!! Shouldn't have stop him, should i? lol

Saturday's BBQ Party

WHAT A LONG DAY THIS WAS TO BE!!

Started as early as 8am due to soccer commitments..Playing soccer at 10am till 11.30noon, got back grabbed some simple lunch and at the mean time checked on Azah and Denise's condition (The preparation for the BBQ)..Then went back for soccer at 2.30-4pm!! Crazy, was so tired after soccer..Came back, got a couple of drinks for tonite and went over to Denise's place to help out..Well more of i took a nap over there..

This BBQ would never have existed without the help of Azah and Denise!! Of course there's also Syaza and Zima who helped out in marinating the chicken and baked a choco cake, and Jesca marinating the lamb..And Kristin, Charlene & Kitty baking another yummy choco cake!! omg..

Ok maybe i should write it out in clear what they did,

Denise - Fishballs, crabsticks, fried beehoon (2 HUGE PLATES ALL BY HERSELF!) and oo..agar agar (jelly!!)

The closest thing i could get to gather all that was present that day..MJ, Ming Hui, Charlene (in grey), Kitty (in white), Ronald, Jesca, Myself, Kent, YC, Denise, Kristin, Azah, Zima, and Jay. 7 missing faces: Syaza, Brandon, Kevin, Jun Wei, Soo May + bf, and Jeremy..

Jesca, Zima, Denise and Azah after all the preparations they made today, finally some break time..

Contingency plan just in case if we run short of food..DONT ASK!! But the food supply turned out alrite..Had surplus actually..Was being teased by Azah, Denise and Jesca caused i was afraid there wouldnt be enough..

Yea..its really a big joke if the nite ended with foosball..Had a couple of pretty good drinks..Bummed..Went to my hse and bummed, went to my neighbour's hse and bummed, and flat 47 (aka Club 47)..Had even more drinks and some good cocktails there..Could see that Jun Wei loved that place!! muahahah..

It was overall, a wonderful day..THANK YOU SO MUCH TO all who made my 21st Birthday celebration such a wonderful memory!! Everyone of you mattered and did made this BBQ such a delightful and memorable event for me..Loved it and will always cherish this!!

And to those that couldnt make it..Hmpfff!! Yea it's ok..

And the following day, Sunday, had DimSum at Hoi's Kitchen with Eileen and XiaoYee..Yea i was not in the best shape for DimSum..But it turned out alrite..Had great time chatting with them..And for all that they have contributed and helped me with all these while, they deserve some pretty good all paid DimSum!! *ya big hole in the wallet now* No worries!! :) Sorry ler no pics for this cos no camera..

Multicultural week - Pasar Malam

BBQ on Saturday and DimSum on Sunday..Before hand, there'll be the much needed shopping for Saturday's BBQ..

After class, Azah and i headed to Canningvale market..Apparently the goods there are cheaper and fresher..o well..i dont know much about food..I only follow to PAY and CARRY!! Haihh..Just turned 21 and this is what i've got to do..

Yes..The food we bought..Phww.Anymore and there wouldnt be any spaces left!!

Later that night had Pasar Malam at Curtin Uni as it is the Multicultural week..HEAPS OF FOOD!! But they dont come in cheaper either.. And the queue for satay is CRAZY!!!

Oh ya, Denise had a stall on that nite with another 3 of her friends..Had Chinese herbal eggs, and then those sweet and sour steamboat style 'tim-tim'..Sorry, no pics of the stall..Forgot to take..

Had heaps of performances and highlight was certainly the performances by QBand..Muahahah..Im sure those who were there would agree with me..Oooo..Met Michelle Low there as well..omg she's so different!! When we saw each other we just paused there and finally 'pop', "omg?! Ivan?" and me, "....still wondering..and finally, Michelle??"

She is so different!!!!!!!! she put on some needed weight and looks way nicer!! It's always good to meet up my Leo pals..We simply have this bond with each other after all the things we done together..Wont be surprised if next time we'll all get together and start a company!! muahahah..

I was very busy even before the stroke of midnite approaching 7th October..I have a presentation to present on my birthday!! Sad eh? But it's ok i reckon..

Again, i did all my fancy stuffs with my powerpoint and presentation, and am glad to announce that it didn't turn out that bad either..Got the class to participate pretty well and the tutor was rather happy as well..

Wait..what the heck am i doin? Reporting on presentation..yea, so i had heaps of smses and calls on me bday..Got me thinkin how thankful and SUPER HAPPY i should be!! Didn't do much on my bday as it is on a Thursday, but had an enjoyable dinner with Azah and Denise at Han's Cafe *yummy* in Carousel.. The food there is simply SUPER!!

Lady Luck was clearly not standing on Everton's side.

Everton were brought down to earth by a shock 53rd minute goal from French defender Noe Pamarot and a Tottenham side who had been bullied out of the match with a performance of steel but managed to steal a 1-0 win from the Toffee boys.

Everton clearly dominated the entire game, with 3 shots denied by the woodwork and an least 2 clear penalty appeals!!

CBS Cup..The tournament that's killing ALL OF US!!
Players injured..Burnout due to 2 matches in a day and under the hot sun..fheww~~

We sent a rather strong team but at the end of our first game, which we won 5-0, we had 3 players injured out of the 7 players registered!!

Was forced to play the 2nd game of the day with an injured goalkeeper (Joel) who's struggling with his knee. Our striker, Ali out with YES A BROKEN ANKLE!! (Confirmed that later at night after scanning his leg in the hospital) And defender (Didier) limping. So its left with me, Kent, Kristen and Yit Chuan to face the defending champions!!!

Outcome: a defeat..a humiliating defeat..

2nd day of the tournament, organiser allowed us to get the replacements required.

2nd Day, 1st game against the boys from Vickery..O boy..though game it would be..
Surprisingly took the lead for the first half at 1-0..Could have been 3-0 if Didier had controlled his one on one shot, and if he had converted from the penalty spot!!

Stayed 1-0 until the last 10 minutes..They managed to scramble a goal through for the equaliser..And 5minutes later found themself in the driving seat after hitting us at the counter attack..
LOST 1-2

2nd Day, 2nd game against Team M. A tough battling encounter with Team M. But the team, low on morale and support (on and off the pitch) cried foul and Team M was able to sneak a goal in for the victory.. The team practically didn't created chances in front and had to pay the price for not concentrating.
A deserved 0-1 defeat but if the team had got the spirit going, we would have easily demolished them..

Consequences: Team V69, knocked out.

Tim Cahill does it again!! Everton's tremendous start of the season continues and is steadily positioned 3rd in the league!! With 4 points clear of the 4th place and only 3 points away from leaders, Arsenal. No, im not saying that we are challenging for the title YET.. I'm glad the club have finally overcome its fear of height..That probably explained why all these while (since 1985?) we never really got to the top end of the table..

The game was shown live at Fox TV!! WohooO!! But sadly, the pubs nearby my place does not fancy opening on Sundays!! Had to dig my way to Northbridge and found this brilliant sports pub!! Had that Everton game on and poor Denise and Azah was there as well..And yet again, everytime with my Everton kit im bound to make some new friends..And this time it's Adam and his vietnamese-looking gf!! He was simply delighted to bump into another Evertonian and we had quite a chat and of course the girls were just left figuring the meaning of football..

Only managed to catch the first half of the game as the Pub closes at 12midnite!! And as for some, it's 10pm!! My gosh!!

Apparently it seems that at the stroke of midnite, the bartender will turn into a horse, the waitress will turn into mices, the Dj will turn into a lizard and the bouncers will turn into pigs..Ok, sorry about the lizard and pigs (couldnt recall what other animals were there in Cinderella)..Well, rushed back home and straight to my laptop to check the livescore update..

Carling Cup..On the paper, it seem like it was to be a cruising win for Everton which was true for the first half as Big Dunc scored from the spot on the 30th minute.

Leon Osman limped off just before the break to be replaced by Nick Chadwick and on his first touch, Good ol' Chadwick scored the second goal for Everton..

After the break Bristol hit back at us immideately and managed to pull one back on the 49th minute through a fast move down the Everton left, followed by a fierce incoming ball resulted in an own goal by Tim Cahill or Alan Stubbs under pressure..

The lead was then surrendered on the 53rd minute when a cross from the right, met by Leroy Lita in the box to slam it home for an equalizer. 2-2.. There was not be any further defensive slip ups as both teams battled through and in the 80th minute, Everton was awarded a penalty as McFadden was being fouled in the box. McFadden came up and took the penalty and the keeper guessed well and saved the penalty!!

Extra Time was to be called to try and break these two teams but none of the side brokethrough to score in extra time.. The game was to be decided through penalty kicks..

Everton's first kicker, and Watson's shot was well saved..

Coles' shot hit the bar and Everton could very well wrapped up the game if Carsley scores..

And he does!! Carsley scoring it to make it a 4-3 win on penalties.

recently, i have come to learn new things about myself. I dun dispute the fact that there's always someone i this world who would have to live a life without a love of life-partner. I strongly believe i fall in that category. Maybe when God made me, one of the life qualities he left out was love. Heck, i dun blame God at all. Maybe i was brought here for another reason, a reason i dunno just yet.

Dun get me wrong, i think it's a tragedy if someone lives a love-less life. How can anyone not have love. Apparently, there are few who belong in this category. I pray very hard that none of u guys join me in this not-meant-to-find-love category. I hope u guys find someone - your love.

For those who have someone in their arms and do love them, i beg u not do anything to destroy your love. I damaged probably my only chance for true love with an angel who i believe only walks among us once a lifetime. I let my stupidity take over my common sense and let her slip through my fingers. That is a mistake i have to live with. I do hope our paths will cross again.

I know there are a few ppl who thinks that single life is the best. If u have a partner and think this way, that means u do not love him/her. Coz ppl like me who are not as blessed as many of u, are deprived of that magic.

If u love someone, accept them as who they are. Forgive their mistakes, as to err is human. There is no perfect man or woman, but there's a perfect partner. I believe i let my perfect partner run away from my loving arms. Dun make the same mistakes i did, i urge you.

If u love your partner, never hesitate to tell him/her that u love them. When you are holding hands, hold like you are not letting go. Same goes for your embraces. Look into their eyes and pour your feelings out. There is no shame for doing so guys! It proves your sincerity. Dun get scared of arguments, they are just tests that will make your relationship stronger, provided u pass the test.

As for me, i just have to live out my life knowing i wasted a lifetime chance to share love with one of God's greatest creation. I'm still young, so there's plenty of time for me to wait for our paths to cross. If i dun have her this lifetime, pls pray for me guys that i'll have her in my next.

If someone were to win her heart, i'd like to congratulate you. She really loves you. Just make sure you dun break her heart. If u do, i'm coming to kick your ass! I came back home after watching the Southampton Newcastle game last night and could only get the latest score line via the internet where else the lads back home gets to watch it live on TV!!! Arghh!! Stupid FoxTV here have shitty soccer progammes!! Can i get Astro here?

Really, tell me who needs Wayne Rooney? Certainly not third-placed Everton after this stunning battling display to extend our best ever start to a Premiership season. Marcus Bent got the goal that meant Everton are still unbeaten since the opening day of the Barclays Premiership season while a defence of heroes defiantly withstood a fierce late Middlesbrough barrage.

In fact there were heroes everywhere. David Weir and Alan Stubbs at the back, the all-action Thomas Gravesen in the middle and plenty of supporting roles played by the likes of Leon Osman, Kevin Kilbane and Tony Hibbert. Somehow Everton have emerged from a summer of financial, internal crisis and critics who claimed this would be a relegation battle season from the off for us.

Everton controlled the game from the very beginning, could have went in to half time with an least a 2-0 deposit!!

The ball broke for Osman on the 47th minute, who found Bent on the halfway line. Bent raced away into an empty half, held off Chris Riggott, and saw his shot deflect in off Schwarzer's diving body for his second goal for the club and first at Goodison Park. It was all Boro after this, they kept bombarding the boys in Blues and McFadden could have wrapped up the game as he ran 50 yards with the ball but only for Schwarzer to pick it away from his toes!! It was a nail-bitting last 15minutes in Goodison, and certainly not a scene for the faint-hearted..

World Rally Championship, here i come!! A MUST go for all WRX lovers!! I said that cause not all car enthuast will be interested.. Rally is about skill, ability, control and not just straight line speed unlike BORING BORING F1!!

11th to 14th of November!! Hope it doesnt fall right between my exam papers..If it does, i'll still go but probably for 1 night event..If not, im all out for the entire 3-days event!! *fingers crossed..

How much? Surprisingly for a final stage event, its pretty reasonable..Well, of course im going for concession tickets!! :P 1 Night Grandstand - AUD35, 3 Nights Grandstand - AUD90 ONLY!! But if i've got all 3 days free, will DEFINITELY opt for the Rally Club tickets!! Muahaha.. AUD120..Money well spent!! Rave parties, time to lower ur prices..lol.. The grandstand tickets are for the special stage where there will be 2 cars head to head on the map below..I'll certainly jump for the service park as well!! Muahha.. Better start saving cash for merchandise purchases..

A week of mad mad referees!! This includes the Arsenal Fulham game where there were a handful of weird decision..But of course, none is as shocking as the Man City - Everton referee..Tim Cahill, an Aussie signed from Milwall for 2million pounds (RM 12million!!) played his second Everton game and scored an amazing header past ManCity (aka former England gk), David James!

It was a game that Everton have dominated and young Cahill found the net in the 60th minute, his first goal in such a prestige league and for such a prestige club, he was simply thrilled and ran a quarter of the pitch lifting his shirt up to his neck before the other teammates catch up with him..

To everybody's surprise and to the ManCity supporters' delights, Tim Cahill was given his second yellow card and followed by a fcukin RED!! Off u go, goal scorer..Apparently the referee was just jealous of how well Cahill's body was compared to his..

It is a very long way from the terraces of Goodison Park to the shores of Malaysia and some may be surprised to learn that there is an Everton Supporter’s Club in Malaysia. Given the dominance of Manchester United/Arsenal over the past decade and the recent emergence of Chelsea with their multi million pound signings, why Everton one might ask?

A far cry from the dismal 1990s and the club's present predicament, Everton is a club with a proud footballing tradition and history that is laced with triumph and glory. If you know your history, Everton is one of England's biggest club, dare we say the original big 5 club. An unbroken run in the top flight since 1954 (second only to Arsenal) and the first team to play 100 years in the top flight are some of the achievements that Evertonians, the world over, are proud of. In terms of trophies won at least, Evertonians can still count themselves among the top 5 clubs in England. Only Manchester United, SHite and Arsenal have won more League titles than Everton. A total of 9 League championships, a haul of 5 FA Cups which is also among the best in the country and an European Cup Winners Cup is proof of this. Who know what might have been if English teams weren’t banned from European football. Everton can also boast one of the best and most loyal supporters in the UK. Where else can you find average attendances of over 38,000 (Goodison Park capacity 40,100) for a team that finished 17th in the league?

Everton Supporters Club Malaysia (ESCM) was formed by a group of local Evertonians and is currently in the process of being registered as an official supporter’s club of Everton FC. Currently, there are over 70 registered male and female members who are located all over the country. Even though ESCM is still in its infancy, we’ve managed to regularly get together during the live telecast of Everton games and cheer on our boys in blue. We also try and organise a session of futsal once in a while. An ESCM team (Everton B) won the EPL Supporters Club of Malaysia Cup Tournament held at Sportsplanet recently, beating Tottenham Hotspurs of Singapore 3-0.

It is not easy being an Evertonian in Malaysia where most of the people around you support either Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool. Most supporters of Everton in Malaysia started supporting the club in the mid 80s and the Everton side of the time, with its sublime football was a pleasure to watch. Everton and Liverpool dominated the mid 80s and added some extra spice to the proceedings due to the local rivalry. Back then, the only live games that Malaysian managed to watch was the FA Cup final and Everton’s Championship wins, FA Cup exploits and the Cup Winner’s Cup triumph did help attract support in Malaysia. A preseason tour of Malaysia in the late 80s where Everton played the national side was a bonus for Malaysia Toffees who could at last see their heroes in the flesh. The names of Neville Southall, Graeme Sharp, Peter Reid & Gary Lineker, just to name a few, bring back fond memories. It really hurt all Evertonians that we could not play in Europe after winning the Championship. We had a very good side that had won the Cup Winner’s Cup the previous season but were denied a shot at the European Cup because of the European ban in effect on all English teams (BECAUSE OF LIVERPOOL FANS BEHAVING VIOLENTLY!!!). Howard Kendall left for Spain for a taste of European football. That was the start of the decline for Everton Football Club.

By the time league games were being shown live here, Everton was no longer a dominant force. The advent of the Internet and Astro did help us keep in touch with the fortunes of our beloved club. Apart from the FA Cup final win over Manchester United in 1995, there hasn’t been much to shout about lately but all is not doom and gloom. In David Moyes, we currently have one of the best and brightest young managers in the game and a small albeit dedicated squad of players. The thing is, we've been down this path before.

In the early 80s, a bright young manager, Kendall, comes into a relegation threatened team. The star midfielder, a young blue nose from Halewood, Steve McMahon is the hope for all blues, refuses a new contract due to poor terms and he leaves. The manager and board then start to come in for heavy criticism from the fans. Petitions around the ground calling for the chairman and manager to go. A young goalkeeper(Southall)lets 5 in at the derby at Goodison and gets loaned out before the next game. The reserve team coach (Harvey) gets promoted to try and take some of the heat off Kendall. Kendall signs two has been players that could break down at any minute and are criticised for buying the has beens (Gray and Reid). A young forward (Sharp) is always criticised by the fans for not trying. You don't need star players to win the league, cup etc. You need players to have star performances.

Evertonians are a very hardy breed indeed. We’ve been through the good times and the bad and last summer was definitely one of the worst with the boardroom uncertainties and Rooney transfer saga. Although we may be half a world away from Goodison Park, most of us realised what it means to be part of this great club. We feel the highs and lows, the hopes and frustrations, just as strongly out here. Some of us have had the opportunity to experience the excitement of the drumroll and the tune that sends shivers down every true blue’s spine. The players running onto the pitch to the tune of Z-Cars amid the roar that reaches a crescendo. It is a sound that makes every hair stand on. As the saying goes, Evertonians are Born not Manufactured.

It all seem to be yet another frustrating and gloomy day..Didnt bother to surf any Everton sites as i've had enough of it..Everton sites: One of the depression sources..It doesn't help when my hsemates are all out..Just me and this huge hse..Haihh..No human interaction once again..Opened the mailbox and that's where the fat bills turned up and waved ever happily to me!! *bas3rds!!* Rang my friends and either they are not in or they are in gym!! SAD, eh?

Well, to the little things that brighten my day up..Calculations and budgeting of course got me going and a little more steady and, 'hey! It ain't that bad afterall'. Playing soccer further ease the frustration and worries..Hey, soccer is a pretty good cure ya know!! And finally checked the Everton site and it just got my spirit going again when the Everton boys are simply so optimistic and together!! The past few weeks was not the best of times i went through..

Frustration..Anger..Dissapointment..Confusion..Rejection..Missed Opportunities..Fat Bills regardless how i tried to oppress it..Grrr!! There goes half my leisure money..

Things just does work according to plan..Why? The times of darkness have begun for me..The fight for better times will now be in call and i've got no idea where to start from?!

Only time will make things better someone said..But i don't reckon this is going to apply to me..Time is killing me!! Why must i wait..Why must i sleep and wake up facing the same matters..Knowing that the matter would still be facing me and smiling right towards me!! Why can't i just resolve it? Why must there be barriers? Why must there be 'rules and procedures'?!

31st August, Wayne Rooney has officially become a Man United player. The transfer which cost ManUtd £20m possibly rising to £29.5m depending on appearances and achievements. For many, such a sum is way too hefty for an 18 year old but to be fair, he’s a great long term investment and furthermore he have signed a 6-years contract. Well, that's from a neutral point of view.

Now from an Evertonian's point of view, Rooney and ManU Makes me sick!! Wayne Rooney has been at Everton for nine years. He had seen it all in Everton and the sad fact is that he had seen enough. Rooney’s ambition, arrogance and greed could not be satisfied at Goodison Park in its present state. Wayne Rooney is a totally different person to the one who thrilled us only a year ago. He has become a person with an attitude and ego that I have been told the club is better off without. His head has been filled with shit but he, and no other, has let that shit in.

It’s always sad when our best leave, but the only thing to blame here is the worst elements of human nature. Too much – too soon – too young. Everything that happened after that was as a consequence of him not wanting to stay at the club he once loved, when the wheel started turning it couldn’t be stopped.

In Everton’s hour of need, Wayne Rooney has turned his back on the Club when it needed him most. That is how Evertonians will remember him as. I’ll never forgive Wayne Rooney. He hasn’t lied to us but he has shown the fans utter contempt on a club that was willing to do anything for him. My heart was beating unusually fast in the last 20 minutes of the game. It must have been an least twice if not thrice as fast as the usual heart beat. What a game it was..The Everton side started off the game pretty well, controlling almost the entire first half but come second half, it was to be a hard fought game with Everton players displaying their best ever defensive stance throughout the game even without J.Yobo!! Another absentee in the squad was Tommy 'MadDog' Gravesen who in place was replaced by debutant Tim Cahill who played superbly in this match. Occasionally, the Everton boys almost broke the ManU supporters' heart through a couple of attempts and THREE PENALTY APPEALS!!

1) O'Shea's handling of the ball in the box (okay this call might be a little dodgy)
2) Silvestre's clear HANDLING OF THE BALL AS WELL (THIS IS CLEAR!!!CLEARLY HANDBALL!)
3) Silvestre's push on Big Duncan in the box. (ManU, u lucky scum!)

But nevertheless, ManU did threaten pretty well. In fact, 3 shots was denied by the woodwork.. Fair enuff i would say, if we had got the penalty, you guys might have equalised.

Overall, a fantastic result for Everton and currently stand tall on 7th of the Premiership table. It just goes to show that Everton can get results without Yobo, Gravesen and most notably Rooney.

Back to back victory for Everton despite the Rooney saga which left most Evertonians disturbed, abandoned, dissapointed and betrayed.

Who needs Rooney? Young Osman wears the shirt with pride!

Everton 2 WBA 1. Up 1-0 in the SECOND MINUTE thru a Gravesen throw which Kilbane flick it onto Osman to head it into the goal. But the lead didn't last long, 7th minute a corner from WBA and somehow they got a head to it despite numerous Everton players defending. Everton practically dominated the entire game and got the deserved lead in the 68th minute thru Young Leon Osman again when an Albion player fouled Big Dunc at the edge of the box and Lee Carsley curled the free kick in for Osman to again heads it in.

In the Summer, I was darn proud to be an Evertonian, despite the shameful lowest points total in the premiership. Rooney’s performances at Euro 04 were breathtaking. He was one of us, a true blue, and he was ours, not in the sense that we owned him, but in the sense that he was of us, an Evertonian.

Last season, I warned many of you that Rooney is a time bomb waiting to go off in our TV Screens, the previous year I had warned everyone that we are witnessing the emergence of the greatest talent to appear. I felt last year that there was an inevitability about Rooney’s demise as an Everton icon. He had become bigger than the club (perhaps probably TOO BIG for himself to handle), in fact he is ill-equipped to deal with the interests his success generated. The exploitation by agents and the media was bound to take Rooney away from Everton sooner or later.

Where will this leave Everton? It is confirmation of what I have long accepted that Everton is now a third-rate power in the Premiership. A huge distance behind the top three, a reasonable gap behind the likes of Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Spurs, Villa clubs. (No, Liverpool is not in any of the above classes..That i'll NEVER SURRENDER TO!) I was thinking which ManU or Newcastle players could we have in exchange for Rooney and then i came to a conclusion that it would take an least half of their club's squad players to equal the value of Rooney!! (How i wish this could happen) Frankly, no player in their right mind would leave ManU or Newcastle for Everton. The transfer will have to be SOLELY CASH!!

The cash will never get us another Rooney, in reality £30M is cheap for such a 'phenomeneon' player. Paul Gregg will want his wife’s money out of Everton and Blue Bill’s rescue plan will only attract the Finnans and Traores of this world. We will be another team of “never mind the quality, feel the quantity”. If we underachieve this year, how will we even be able to attract players of quality? The out-of-contract players – many of whom we will be glad to see their departure somehow or another will be difficult to replace.. Ironic, isnt it?

What happens to all those Rooney 18 shirts? I personally have two and does that mean that i have to start tuning in to Man United and cheer them on in the Champions League when Rooney scores? Simply Sickening isnt it?

I feel betrayed. I have some sympathy for Rooney but it all STOPS right HERE. Whatever happened to loyalty? To commitment? Rooney’s refusal to sign another contract, to publicly declare his position at Everton, and most of all to align himself with agents hostile which are against Everton’s interests. Why dont he just stand up and announce his intentions PUBLICLY instead of putting fans like us thru such horrifying times. We are all in total darkness and have the slightest idea of what is installed for us in the near future. Fans like me have been glued to my handbook for the past few days trying to catch every breath of news regarding this transfer and this is certainly not something that anyone would fancy doing at all times. I feel bitterness towards the whole football industry, to the management and administration at Everton. If only YOU could stand up and clear it all up, regardless of your intentions of staying or leaving, just clear it up for the sake of the fans!!

There are other sports I can spend my loyalty and cash on.. Those which send out a better message about what is important in life. Friendship, honour, humility, trust, honesty, openness, fidelity, endeavour and most of all loyalty; I find all of these virtues corrupted by this whole sour affair. It will take me a long time to recover from this one.

I remain a loyal Evertonian and hope for better times but it is a very bleak outlook and I am very, very disillusioned..even after reading this site...

Meera is going back to Singapore for a week and i got her to get me this kit from there!! Thanks so much mate!! She'd be back next Friday and i'll be counting down the days of her arrival!!

I have a list of questions that I’d kill to know the answers to. Up there at the top of the list are:

How do I predict those four numbers for those lotto draws?

Is there a man alive who knows exactly what a woman is thinking?

and most importantly,

Why is it utterly impossible to predict the severity of a hangover?

Just below these comes the "What is going on at Everton?" question.

I thought I’d seen every type of balls-up possible at a football club. I was wrong; I got to witness yet another new and improved variety. I regularly shake my head in disbelief at the goings on at Goodison but I can’t anymore; my head has shook so much that I’m dizzy and my neck is clicking.

Regarding this latest episode in the saga that is the recent history of EFC, the most deflating thing is that I am not in the least bit surprised.

Why can’t the club ever get anything right? And I mean anything. Absolutely everything they touch turns to shit. Does the left hand ever know what the right hand is doing? Nothing in life has the capacity to do my head in as much as that football club; even women don’t run it close (well i have one on my head right now but it aint that bad).

I woke up on last Monday morning and clicked on my Everton sites and saw Everton and new Russian investors splashed all over - wow! I looked down at all the usual shit of Rooney revelations all over as usual. For an Evertonian, it’s just another day.

Unfortunately all this deflects attention away from the fact that we outplayed a Premiership team away from home at the weekend.

There are very fishy goings on at Everton at the moment. If Gregg’s legal representation did have all the necessary documentation in its possession since last week, why did he call the Board Meeting off? Why hasn’t it been rescheduled? There are also other fishy goings on concerning Everton, but these goings on are out of the club’s control.

As usual, us fans, the fans — who pay the poke that keep the club running if not being squandered are then left totally in the dark.

We have one week left until the transfer window closes. Stretford looks like he is cranking up the pressure and Gregg really does need to get his arse into gear. Both have exit strategies in place but both exits will undoubtedly never benefit the real victims in all of this, David Moyes and the long suffering Everton faithful.

If you think we’ve gone through some shit never forget the amount of shit that Moyes has been through.

Right now some heads (STRETFORD, Kenwright & Gregg) certainly need banging and banging hard.

Down 0-1 then we got a penalty and equalise thru Maddog Gravesen and amazingly he grabbed another goal to make it 2-1 and Naysmith somehow must get a red card to give us a scare before Marcus Bent opening his Everton account to make it 3-1!! Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, the Latin phrase that is on the emblem of Everton FC. This is the motto of our once-great club. The truth is, as an Evertonian all mylife, I’ve learnt to accept the fact that our last seen glory days could only be traced back to 17 long years ago. Since then, we have had a couple of trips to Wembley and somehow or another a keen interest towards relegation dogfights. 39 points sends you down most seasons. The game against Man City should have been the final relegation place decider. It's only because of what happened to Leeds that we can finish fourth from bottom not third. We have an ageing squad of little saleable value.

Last season was terrific with the gift of wonder kid Rooney bursting into the scene with the infamous goal that stopped Arsenal’s unbeaten record (then), DavidMoyes’ tactical arrangement and his master in motivation managed to secure us numerous victories!!On the face of it, this season has been a shocker, especially after the highs of last season and the promising prospect of the ‘awakening of the sleepinggiant’. But in all honesty the cracks were appearing before the first day at Highbury where the Gunners had Sol Campbell sent off and yet that still lead us to an outcome of a 1-2. The run-in to end last season was as bad as this one, but the euphoria of seeing ourselves in the top half conveniently airbrushed that from most memories. Both full seasons under Moyes can now be consigned to the history books... But what about the future?

There is a group at Goodison who will be remembered by Evertonians for generations to come. But for all the wrong reasons!! They are simply the Everton Directors who have failed over the years to bring success to one of the best-supported clubs in the Premiership. They have persistently lied to the fans about a new ground, an academy, transfer funds etc. They have also misled the manager, Moyes who otherwise would have never taken this job. Unless they take out their fat wallets and give the manager adequate funds, I feel that we will be all but relegated by next Christmas. If Mr.Kenwright (Chairman of Everton) and the rest are pleading poverty, why not resign then and give this opportunity to someone who would fill in the club’s needs? Or has the prestige of owning the club gone to his head? Be a true supporter, let someone else with funds take over the club. Otherwise, you will be remembered in our history as the man who stood by with his hands (and wallet) in his pockets and watched our beloved club slide relentlessly into oblivion.

However we have a few players who should have good futures in the game:

1)Of course, there's ‘The Duke’ Rooney. Need I say more about the wonder kid?
2)Joseph ‘Joey’ Yobo has the ability to become one of the best centre backs in the world. Concentration is the key with him. He reads the game very well.
3)Tony Hibbert made a couple of mistakes but he looked to have regained a lot of his mobility and sharpness that we remember. Well, he’s still learning…
4)James McFadden!! There is obviously no doubt on this lad’s ability. He proved it in the SPL and even in the international games for Scotland and he was the scorer of Scotland’s 1-0 victory over Holland in the Euro qualifier. If he can stay focussed, he will have an impact on the Premiership sooner rather than later.
5)Leon Osman! Finally Moyes gave Osman a start in the team after numerous hype from Goodison regarding this bright player. It's been a long time since I saw an Everton midfielder pick holes in the opposition as much as he did. He uses the ball and space very intelligently and appeared to never stop running. His timing is excellent and instinctive.

And to add to the team is, Radzinski, Martyn and Wright for the next couple of years and then our team would have some genuine quality to build on. Next up is our own Tommy ‘mad dog’ Gravesen He regularly provides us with glimpses of breathtaking brilliance that leave your jaw in your lap. He is never anonymous; he's either man of the match, or should be sent for an early shower. This season however he has stepped up a gear and demonstrated his worth to the club. His mistakes are the ones that are noticed, probably because he is trying to do something.

You don't see mistakes from Linderoth, but then again you don't see cones on the training ground making mistakes either (Ok maybe I should give him a little more credit, he does do a little running though).Looking beyond the first team Gemmill, Gerrard, and Simonsen have all but gone. The remaining dinosaurs of the Smith era will soon be departing. The club needs them out as soon as possible. Campbell, Weir,Carsley, Nyarko, Watson and Linderoth all fall into the has-been or never-will-be category. This will freeup capital, but will it be enough, and will it be soon enough?

We have been poor this season but we have also been unlucky. Fortunately for us, the Everton bug has bitten David Moyes and he appears to be in for the long haul. The Everton Board of Directors watch what we watch and the Board know what Moyes needs. Let's hope that some of the increased income goes on the pitch where it is needed... or history may repeat itself. David Moyes could find himself managing a nationwide club with a glorious past and a very uncertain future.

What goes on in the close-season will have a major bearing on the future of our club. Whatever happens this summer, one thing is for sure that if we want tosee Everton at the right end of the league, it's going to be a long hard and tough slog. The club needs our support and the first thing fans need to do is to renew their faith and hope. We should take more than agrain of hope from the names of Moyes, Rooney, Yobo,McFadden. After all, there really is no other team!!
